# Connecting a Salesforce Org to Guard using Connected Apps flow

Getting started with AutoRABIT Guard takes just a few minutes. There’s no need to connect GitHub or any other infrastructure—we only require a connection to your Salesforce org.

### Step 1: Log in to Guard

Sign in to your Guard account.

### Step 2: Open Settings

In the right-hand menu, go to Settings.

### Step 3: Add Your Salesforce Org

Click Add New Org.

You’ll be prompted to log in with your Salesforce org credentials through a standard OAuth flow.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: AutoRABIT never sees or stores your Salesforce credentials.
{% endhint %}

Authorize Guard to connect with your Salesforce org. Once complete, the connection is established securely.

### Step 4: Let Guard Do the Work

That’s it! Guard will automatically:

· Scan your org for vulnerabilities

· Classify data in your custom fields

·      Check your security settings

***You’re now ready to start using Guard!***

Additionally, we recommend connecting with an Integration User License. Details on how to do this can be found here: [Integration User License](/product-guides/guard/getting-started-with-guard/integration-user-license.md)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.autorabit.com/product-guides/guard/getting-started-with-guard/how-to-set-up-guard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
