# About IZ Analyzer

## Introduction

**IZ Analyzer** covers the basic concept of continuous inspection of code quality to perform automatic reviews with static analysis of code to detect bugs, code smells, and security vulnerabilities. Well integrated with [SonarQube™](https://www.sonarqube.org) offerings like reports on duplicated code, coding standards, unit tests, code coverage, code complexity, comments, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.

### Motivation

1. Unavailability of Mule code review tool
2. Unavailability of (RAML/OAS) code review tool
3. Unavailability of WSO2 code review tool
4. Unavailability of an issue using auto fix functionality
5. Code quality checks
6. Non-centralized continuous inspection

### User Journey Illustrated

* Flow below illustrates the overall user journey to achieve continuous inspection via IZ Analyzer:
  * User Installs IZ Analyzer to start with.
  * Opts one of the installation paths Studio Plugin/Server Plugin
  * Developers code in their Anypoint Studio / WSO2 Integration Studio and use *IZ Analyzer Plugin* to run local analysis and *Auto Fix* issues.
  * *Template rule* is a new **feature** added that enables the user to define their custom rule and respective code.
  * *Anypoint Studio Plugin* supports scanning and uploading results to the server.
  * *Analyzer Server* processes and stores the analysis report results in the Database and displays the results in the UI.
  * Developers review, comment, and challenge their Issues to manage and reduce their Technical Debt.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.autorabit.com/product-guides/integral-zone/iz-analyzer/about-iz-analyzer.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
