Configure Backup Environment
Overview
The administrator must first set up the AutoRABIT Vault environment before working on backup/restore or other AutoRABIT Vault features. This helps you to create a backup of the data/metadata in the storage environment and restore it if necessary. AutoRABIT Vault supports a variety of environments, including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure Blob, and AutoRABIT Vault's default hosted environment.
Where can I find the option to configure the AutoRABIT Vault storage environment?
You can configure the storage environment under the Settings > Backup Environment tab.
How to configure AutoRABIT Vault Environment?
Log in to your AutoRABIT Vault account.
Go to the Settings module and click on the Backup Environment tab.
Every time a new user is registered with AutoRABIT Vault. While setting up the account, during the initial configuration of the storage, the following checks will be done to make sure everything on the storage end is set up and in place. This ensures that the AutoRABIT Vault application will be utilized by the user seamlessly.
Under Storage Environment, select the Storage Type from the drop-down. As of now, AutoRABIT Vault supports the following storage types:
