# User Registration

## **AutoRABIT Vault Freemium User Registration**

### User Guide

This guide explains the AutoRABIT Vault Freemium registration workflow, including account sign-up, agreement acceptance, OTP verification, and the confirmation email received after the free trial account is activated.

| **Workflow outcome:** After registration and verification, the account is activated for the AutoRABIT Vault free trial. The activation email provides access details, the instance URL, the master code, and the applicable trial limits. |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

### Purpose

The Freemium registration flow allows a new account to be requested and activated for a limited AutoRABIT Vault free trial. The workflow captures basic account details, requires agreement acknowledgement, verifies the registration using OTP, and sends an activation email with the trial access information.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** AutoRABIT Vault Free Trial access remains active for **14 days** from the subscription start date. After the trial period ends, account data is retained for an additional **7 days**. Once this retention period is complete, the account is permanently deleted, and no user data is retained after deletion.
{% endhint %}

## Entering Registration Details

The registration form captures the required account information. The form includes fields for the registrant name, account email, organization, and region or location. The selected region determines the free trial instance location used for the account.

Required fields must be completed before registration can continue. The regional selection is made from the available options in the Region/Location list.

## Reviewing and Accepting the Agreement

After the registration details are entered, AutoRABIT Vault displays the agreement dialog. The agreement must be reviewed and acknowledged before the registration request can be submitted. The acceptance control remains part of the same registration flow and confirms that the terms are accepted for the requested free trial account.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.autorabit.com/product-guides/vault/autorabit-vault-freemium/user-registration-1.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
