Quote Templates

Active Quote

The ActiveQuote template sets a specified quote as active within Salesforce.

Steps to Create the ActiveQuote Template

  1. Log in to your AutoRABIT account.

  2. Navigate to the Env. Pro. module.

  3. Click on Create New Template.

  4. Open the Create Unsupported Metadata Template tab.

  5. Provide a template name and a short description.

  6. Select the ActiveQuote checkbox under Quote Templates.

  7. Click Add.

  8. On the next screen:

    • A Test Case Name is generated by default.

    • To add custom test data, click Add and name the entry.

    • Enter the required quote value in the Active Value field.

    • Click Save to confirm this page.

  9. Click Save again to finalize and save the template.

  10. After saving, you'll be redirected to the Environment Provisioning History screen.

  11. Click Run to execute the template on your destination org.

  12. Select your destination org from the dropdown and enter email address(es) for notifications.

  13. In the Post Deployment Steps, select the test cases recently created.

  14. For a detailed deployment summary, refer to the View History page.

Deactive Quote

The DeactiveQuote template deactivates a specified quote in Salesforce.

Steps to Create the DeactiveQuote Template

  1. Log in to your AutoRABIT account.

  2. Navigate to the Env. Pro. module.

  3. Click on Create New Template.

  4. Open the Create Unsupported Metadata Template tab.

  5. Provide a template name and a short description.

  6. Select the DeactiveQuote checkbox under Quote Templates.

  7. Click Add.

  8. On the next screen:

    • A Test Case Name is generated by default.

    • Click Add to insert custom test data and assign a name.

    • Enter the appropriate value in the Deactive Value field.

    • Click Save to confirm the test case.

  9. Click Save again to finalize and save the template.

  10. After saving, you'll be redirected to the Environment Provisioning History screen.

  11. Click Run to execute the template on your destination org.

  12. Select your destination org from the dropdown and input email address(es) to receive notifications.

  13. In the Post Deployment Steps, choose the test cases you recently created.

  14. To view a detailed report of the deployment, check the View History page.

Delete Quote

The DeleteQuote template is used to remove a quote from Salesforce via the Environment Provisioning workflow.

Steps to Create the DeleteQuote Template

  1. Log in to your AutoRABIT account.

  2. Navigate to the Env. Pro. module.

  3. Click on Create New Template.

  4. Open the Create Unsupported Metadata Template tab.

  5. Enter a name and a short description for the template.

  6. Select the DeleteQuote checkbox under Quote Templates.

  7. Click Add.

  8. On the following screen:

    • A Test Case Name is generated by default.

    • Click Add to input custom test data and assign a name.

    • Enter the quote value to delete in the Quote Name or relevant identifier field.

    • Click Save to save the test case.

  9. Click Save again to store the template.

  10. After saving, you'll be redirected to the Environment Provisioning History screen.

  11. Click Run to execute the template on the destination org.

  12. Select the destination org from the dropdown and provide the email address(es) for notifications.

  13. In the Post Deployment Steps, choose the test cases you recently created.

  14. Visit the View History page for a comprehensive summary of the deployment.

New Quote

The NewQuote template is used to create a new quote template in Salesforce via the Environment Provisioning workflow.

Steps to Create the NewQuote Template

  1. Log in to your AutoRABIT account.

  2. Go to the Env. Pro. module.

  3. Click on Create New Template.

  4. Navigate to the Create Unsupported Metadata Template tab.

  5. Provide a name and a short description for the template.

  6. Check the NewQuote option under Quote Templates.

  7. Click Add.

  8. In the next screen:

    • A Test Case Name is auto-generated.

    • Click Add to enter custom test data and provide a name.

    • Fill in the Existing Template and Template Name fields.

    • Click Save to store the data for this step.

  9. Click Save again to finalize the template.

  10. Upon successful creation, you’ll be redirected to the Environment Provisioning History screen.

  11. Click Run to execute the template on your target org.

  12. Choose your destination org from the dropdown and enter one or more email addresses to receive notifications upon execution.

  13. Under Post Deployment Steps, select the recently created test cases.

  14. Review the View History page for a complete report of the deployment process.
